Speaking to IRNA on the content of Pezeshkian’s letter, Enayati said the president sent a message to the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, in which he expressed his gratitude for the facilities provided to Hajj pilgrims and appreciated Saudi Arabia’s assistance in transporting Iranian pilgrims under the special circumstances caused by the Israeli regime’s aggression.
He added that the letter was submitted to Saudi crown prince in the presence of Iran’s new Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Alireza Rashidiyan.
Rashidiyan also signed the next year’s Hajj agreement with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah, he noted.
