In the 97kg division, world champion and Olympic gold medalist Saravi defeated Azerbaijan’s world bronze medalist Murad Ahmadiev 5–1 in the final to secure gold on Wednesday.
In the 130kg division, Hedayati overpowered Egypt’s Mohamed Abdullatif 9–0 by technical fall, claiming Iran’s second gold of the day.
The victories came just one day after Iranian wrestlers had already secured two golds, one silver, and one bronze in earlier Greco-Roman bouts.
In the 87kg category, Gholamreza Farrokhi dominated Kazakhstan’s Islam Yuluev 6–0 to win gold.
In the 67kg category, Saeid Esmaeili earned Iran’s first gold medal by defeating Azerbaijan’s Olympic bronze medalist Hasrat Jafarov 8–3.
In the 60kg category, Ali Ahmadi Vafa clinched bronze after edging Azerbaijan’s world champion Nihat Mammadli 3–2.
In the 77kg category, Amir Abdi settled for silver after falling 6–1 by technical fall to Kyrgyzstan’s world champion and Olympic medalist Akzhol Makhmudov.
With Saravi and Hedayati’s victories, Iran’s Greco-Roman team closed the competition with a total of four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze, marking a highly successful campaign at the Games in Riyadh.
