In a statement on Sunday, the Foreign Ministry denounced the occupying regime's decision to displace the residents of Gaza City, who have been under the most severe bombardment for nearly two years.
It said that dislocating the people facing Israel’s bombing and starvation campaign “is a clear example of a war crime and a crime against humanity”.
Referring to the Israeli decision to evacuate Gaza City, the statement emphasized the responsibility of the international community and Islamic countries to confront this horrific war crime, saying that “Israel has no other goal than to complete the plan of genocide and the eradication of Palestine as a nation and identity.”
The Foreign Ministry also slammed the West for putting a blind eye to the suffering of the Palestinians in the hands of the Israeli regime. “Undoubtedly, the Israeli dislocation plan is the product of the impunity its criminal leaders enjoy, which is itself the result of the comprehensive arms and political support of the United States and some European countries for this regime.”
The statement warned that the forcibly displacing Palestinians, was designed to complete the genocide, with the brazen and extremely dangerous claim of the Israeli premier to shape the idea of the so-called “Greater Israel” - which not only demonstrates the hegemonic nature of the occupying regime but poses danger to the peace and security of the region and the world.
