Iran opens wound clinic using plasma technology at Isfahan hospital

Iran has inaugurated a specialized wound clinic that utilizes plasma therapies to promote healing in chronic wounds at Isfahan’s Farabi hospital.

The clinic was opened during a ceremony on Monday, with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), the president of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, the CEO of the Plasma Technology Development knowledge-based company, and the head of Isfahan Nuclear Zone in attendance.

The center is equipped with wound treatment devices manufactured by Iranian experts to sterilize and repair damaged tissue in a safe and painless manner.

It was established with the goal of providing innovative and non-invasive treatment for chronic wounds caused by diabetes, burns, infections, and pressure.
