Jolani’s reconciliation: A Zionist plot to partition Syria

Recent reports on negotiations between Jolani and the Zionist regime reveal a plan in line with the American scenario to partition Syria and solidify Zionist occupation—a plan that echoes past deceptions.

Nournews: The news of negotiations between Jolani, the leader of Tahrir al-Sham, and the Zionist regime comes as no surprise, given the group's history of ties with U.S. and Israeli-backed terrorists. For years, Jolani and his faction have advanced the project of Syria's fragmentation and the weakening of the Resistance Axis under the Western green light. These recent talks are not aimed at halting Zionist attacks, but rather serve as a tool to complete the long-standing project of occupation and division. Jolani is already working toward this goal by systematically suppressing specific tribes and ethnic groups in Syria.

Normalization or a cover-up for regional defeats?
The proposal to normalize relations between Damascus and Tel Aviv is less a genuine political process and more an attempt to mask the strategic failures of the Zionist regime and the U.S. in confronting Iran and the Resistance Axis. Strategically, Tel Aviv seeks to showcase regional achievements to compensate for its failures in its aggression against Iran and its declining position in West Asia. In this context, the Western media’s exaggeration of a possible deal with Syria is part of a psychological operation aimed at portraying the Resistance as defeated and Zionism as victorious—despite the realities on the ground telling a different story.

A Scenario reminiscent of Oslo and the Lebanon ceasefire
Claims of reconciliation with the Zionist regime in pursuit of regional peace are part of a recurring script. The deceptive Oslo Accords and the fruitless agreements with Lebanon stand as clear examples. The U.S. and Israel have historically used the language of reconciliation to reinforce occupation and expand their influence. Even in the proposal presented for a Syrian agreement, conditions such as the recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights have been included—terms that, if accepted, would transform Syria into a fragmented state. In this scheme, Jolani acts as the executor of this separatist agenda.

The way forward: Returning to the resistance
In these circumstances, the only effective way to counter this American-Zionist conspiracy is for the Syrian people to return to the path of resistance. Trusting in reconciliation will lead only to entrenched occupation and ongoing aggression. Just as South Lebanon was liberated through resistance, and as the Zionists were pushed back by Iran’s deterrent power, retreat can only come through strength. Syrians must remain vigilant: any reconciliation by Damascus' leaders may be a prelude to the consolidation of the occupation of Golan and Quneitra, and the division of the country. A return by Syrian youth to the ideals of resistance can thwart this dangerous scenario.
