Widespread media censorship in the occupied territories

Israeli media have reported extensive damage and a heavy news blackout regarding the impact sites of Iranian missiles in the occupied territories. The failure of Israel’s air defense systems and its inability to intercept the missile attacks have sparked fierce criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Israeli outlets, there is a strict censorship campaign underway concerning the locations hit by Iranian missiles. These media sources, while acknowledging the need to face the truth, described Netanyahu as a danger to Israel, saying: "He has been and remains a threat to Israel; a sheep in the skin of a gray tiger."

Some Israeli outlets described this morning as “the most difficult morning for the Zionists.”

Al Jazeera, citing Israeli media, reported a rising death toll due to Iran’s missile strike and added that Israeli official sources have so far confirmed the deaths of 11 Israelis.

The network also reported that Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv, the central hub of the Israeli regime, and noted that Israel’s missile defense systems were unable to intercept them.

Israeli media confirmed that they are aware of the number of casualties caused by Iran’s retaliatory attack following the Monday night strikes by the Israeli regime on Tehran and northern Iran. However, they said they are refraining from releasing the full figures due to pressure from Israeli authorities.

These outlets also accused Prime Minister Netanyahu of lying, quoting his earlier claim that “we have destroyed Iran’s missile launch systems.” In reality, they said, “we are now facing death and destruction in Israel’s streets from Iranian missile strikes.”
