In last night’s successful missile strike, the American base at Al-Udeid in Qatar was pounded. Trump’s plea for a ceasefire followed a notable rise in the vulnerability of the Zionist enemy’s sensitive sites to Iran’s advanced missiles in recent days. His desperate and imploring appeal came after 11 days of heroic and historic resistance by the proud Iranian nation, as well as the extraordinary unity among all Iranians in defense of Iran against foreign aggression—a unity that thwarted the enemy’s sinister intentions and goals.
Early this morning, the Foreign Minister announced that if the Zionist enemy halts its attacks by 4 a.m., we will also cease our operations. In a post shared online at 4:16 a.m., Mr. Araghchi stated: “As we have repeatedly emphasized, it was the Israeli regime that initiated this war—not us. Currently, there is no agreement on a ceasefire or halting operations. However, provided the Israeli regime ends its illegal aggression against the Iranian people by 4 a.m. today, we also have no intention of continuing our retaliatory strikes.” He stressed that any final decision regarding halting military operations would be taken solely by us.
In another post, Mr. Araghchi expressed his gratitude to the armed forces for responding to the enemy until the very last moment, stating that our powerful military forces continued their punitive operations against Israel right up until 4 a.m.
He added, “Together with all Iranians, I extend my appreciation to our armed forces, who stood ready to defend our beloved country to the last drop of blood and responded to every enemy strike until the very last minute. The dear people of Iran should bow in respect before your steadfast resistance, your remarkable bravery, and the heroic acts of the armed forces—especially the valiant men of the IRGC and the brave defenders of the Army’s air defense—who imposed a ceasefire on the savage and criminal enemy. This pride and honor are well deserved—may it be sweet to you.”
