Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei receives the Iranian organizers of this year’s Hajj rituals in Tehran’s Hosseiniyah of Imam Khomeini (RA) on Sunday.
The meeting is held every year upon the arrival of the Hajj season, during which the Leader delivers his advice and message to the pilgrims and the organizers of the religious rituals.
In his speeches, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei referred to the tragic incident at Bandar Abbas' Shahid Rajaee Port and expressed his condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the incident.
"The problems created by the incident will be compensated for immediately, with the strength, with the ability of our young, energetic, and capable executive institutions," the Leader said.
Also, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei termed Hajj as a unique religious obligation that is distinct in its form, and structure, characterizing it as being completely political.
The Hajj gathering is for the benefit of humanity, and there is no benefit for the Islamic Ummah greater than unity, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said ahead of this year’s hajj congregation.
If the Islamic Ummah becomes united, the issues of Palestine and Gaza would not happen, and Yemen would not be under pressure, he said.
