Written by Ebrahim Adelnia and directed by Mohammad Shakeri, the play is set to be staged during the week-long festival running from May 1 to 7 in Dushanbe.
The festival, now in its third edition, brings together theater troupes from across Central Asia and beyond to promote cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.
Iran’s Deputy Minister for Artistic Affairs, Nadereh Rezai, arrived in Dushanbe on Friday to attend the event and meet with senior Tajik cultural officials. She was received by Manuchehr Sharifzoda, Tajikistan’s Deputy Minister of Culture, alongside Iranian embassy representatives.
‘Fox Hunting Manners’ received critical acclaim at the 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival earlier this year in Tehran, praised for its direction and narrative strength.
The Iranian culture ministry said the event offers an opportunity to showcase the country’s performing arts on an international stage and deepen cultural ties between Iran and Tajikistan.
