Iran says ready to share aviation know-how with Tajikistan

Iran has expressed readiness to transfer its aviation technical knowledge and operational experience to Tajikistan, the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran has announced.

Hossein Pourfarzaneh, head of the Civil Aviation Organization, said during a meeting with his Tajik counterpart in Dushanbe that the Islamic Republic has broad capabilities in areas such as technical expertise, aircraft parts production, human resource training, flight safety, air navigation services, aircraft maintenance, airport infrastructure, and ground handling.

He emphasized the historical, cultural, and linguistic bonds between the two countries, saying that expanding aviation cooperation among Persian-speaking nations in the region reflects “unity, synergy, and mutual support in the specialized fields of the aviation industry.”

The head of Tajikistan’s Civil Aviation Organization welcomed the proposals and voiced his country’s interest in benefiting from Iran’s technical and educational capacities, calling such cooperation an effective step toward enhancing Tajikistan’s aviation capabilities.

The two sides agreed to prepare a draft memorandum of understanding covering educational, technical, navigational, safety, security, and air transport development issues, to be signed at an official meeting later in the day.

The agreement is expected to mark a milestone in advancing professional, technical, and human cooperation between the two nations’ aviation authorities.
