Nikzad condemned a recent terrorist attack in Islamabad, expressing solidarity with the victims’ families and acknowledging Pakistan’s support for Iran during the 12-day war imposed by the Israeli regime in mid-June.
He stressed the determination of both nations to capitalize on existing opportunities for bilateral collaboration.
The Pakistani official expressed his pleasure at an Iranian delegation’s presence at the conference, reaffirming Islamabad’s strong commitment to combating terrorism.
He praised the resilience of the Iranian people in the face of Israeli aggression, congratulating them on their recent victories.
He noted that both countries face common threats, with Israel being a significant concern.
The meeting also addressed regional developments and issues affecting the Islamic world.
The Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference, hosted by the Speaker of the Senate of Pakistan, brought together parliamentary delegations from 45 countries.
