Putin's envoy meets Iran’s top security official in Tehran
Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, received the Russian president’s special envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev on Tuesday.
During this meeting, the two sides discussed developments related to Syria and regional cooperation.
Lavrentiev also met on Monday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the venue of the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
