Nournews: According to Al-Shorouk, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said: “The summit of Arab and Islamic leaders will be held next Sunday and Monday in Doha to discuss and adopt a collective response mechanism to deter Israel.”
The Qatari Foreign Minister also told CNN that the Israeli regime’s attack on Doha was state terrorism, stressing:“I cannot find a word that can express the extent of our anger over this action. This is state terrorism, and we have been betrayed.”
On Tuesday evening, the Israeli army and Shin Bet, in an official statement, claimed responsibility for the terrorist airstrike on the meeting of Hamas leaders in Doha, where the movement’s leaders had gathered to review a ceasefire proposal for Gaza put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a strongly worded statement, described the Israeli regime’s attack on the residential premises of several members of Hamas’s political bureau in Doha as “criminal and cowardly,” emphasizing that this action constitutes a serious threat to the security of Qatar’s citizens and residents.
Jassim Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, said: “We strongly condemn Israel’s disgraceful operation on Qatari soil.”
He stressed the Council’s full solidarity with Qatar, affirming that they will support any measure Qatar decides to take.
