Terrorist Operation in Zahedan: Final Link in Hybrid War Against Iran

NOURNEWS – The terrorist attack on the Zahedan Judiciary was not merely a blind military act but rather a link in the chain of the hybrid war against Iran — a war centered on destabilization, psychological operations, and media whitewashing, designed to disrupt internal cohesion and weaken regional authority.

The terrorist attack on July 26 in Zahedan, alongside simultaneous movements in Sardasht, took place while hostile media outlets are creating a narrative around the water and electricity crises, attempting to turn social challenges into security and political crises. The enemy, by activating social, economic, and security fault lines, aims to inject bitterness and despair into public sentiment concurrently with the strategic successes of the Iranian nation, such as the victory in the 12-day Israel-Iran war and the launch of the Nahid satellite into space. This psychological operation has been experienced before and has only been neutralized through national unity and internal strength. Today, these very elements of unity and power remain the main barrier against the enemy’s perceptual war.

Terrorists as Pawns for the Crisis-Makers

While the Zionist regime is cornered by the resistance in Gaza and internal crises, and the United States is bogged down with domestic issues and ongoing legal cases against Trump, terrorist groups like Jaysh al-Zulm have become tools for diverting public opinion and pressuring Iran. The goal of this operation is to create insecurity and challenge Iran’s regional standing, using it as leverage in negotiations such as the Istanbul summit. This coordinated scenario employs terrorists as proxy agents to advance the failed objectives of the West and global Zionism.

A Test of West’s Claimed Sincerity

If the West is sincere, it must condemn the terrorist attack in Zahedan. This is a serious test to verify their claims about combating terrorism and friendship with the Iranian people. While the West has always spoken of defending human rights and the Iranian nation, today, through silence or justification of this crime, it once again reveals its double standards. If Western countries truly want genuine engagement with Iran, they must cease supporting terrorism in the region, arrest and prosecute those responsible for these crimes, and hold accountable the media outlets that support them. Otherwise, their claims about human rights and fighting terrorism will become mere political tools, losing all credibility.

A Strategy of Regional Unity Against Proxy Terrorism

Regional security is impossible without cooperation and convergence among neighboring countries. The crime in Zahedan, along with terrorist activities in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, shows that security can no longer be seen as isolated islands. Regional countries must establish joint security agreements to lay the foundations for a native and sustainable security. The participation of the Gulf countries in this convergence, especially with their leadership on the Palestine issue, offers a historic opportunity to form an independent, regionally based coalition against terrorism and foreign interference. Only by relying on common interests and regional identity can true peace and security be achieved.
