Supreme Leader’s advisor Ali Larijani to visit Lebanon
After meeting Syrian high-ranking officials, Ali Larijani, Senior Advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, is set to visit Lebanon at the head of a high-ranking delegation, the Iranian foreign ministry spokesman has said.
Esmail Baghaei made the announcement in an interview with IRNA on Thursday.
He said that Larijani would meet with high-ranking Syrian officials, including the prime minister and the speaker of the Lebanese parliament, to discuss the most recent development of the region.
Larijani, who is also a member of Iran’s Expediency Council, had already met with Syrian officials in Damascus on Thursday.
