Alireza Shiravi, noting the unprecedented interest from foreign media in past elections, stated that media outlets from 31 countries of Austria, Spain, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bahrain, Pakistan, Turkey, Algeria, China, Denmark, Russia, Zimbabwe, Japan, Syria, Sweden, Iraq, Oman, France, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, South Korea, North Korea, Colombia, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Yemen will be covering the election.
